The Physical Therapy department at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center was the first-time recipient of Columbia University's Program in Physical Therapy Leadership in Clinical Education Award.

The award, presented during the Program's Commencement May 16, 2006, was given "In recognition of outstanding contributions to the education of physical therapy students". It was received by the Physical Therapy Director, Theresa Morrone and the Center Coordinator of Clinical Education, Janeen Turano.

Thanks to all the physical therapy clinical instructors who devote tremendous time and effort into the teaching and training of new physical therapy students each year.
